Middle school and high school students have an important place in our church. We engage students in a large group experience (relevant teaching, student-friendly activities, technology and fun) and create environments where real relationships happen in small groups. Some of the absolute best volunteers in our church are committed to investing in students, not because they are the church of tomorrow–but because those students are the church of today. Also, our students are encouraged to serve on Sunday mornings in an area they are passionate about.
For students, we offer various ways to connect at Vision, including “Ignition”, our student worship & small group experience every other Sunday night from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. We plan strategic student events throughout the year as well. Keep watching the website and E-news for all of the latest for middle and high school students.

180 Weekend (Feb 2-4)
Are you ready for 180 Weekend 2018?!
Register now for this amazing, life-changing weekend experience. Students in grades 6-12 will stay in Vision host homes and then gather with other students from all over Gaston County for Worship Services on Friday evening, Saturday morning and Saturday afternoon (services held at Bethlehem Church). They will also dig into God’s Word and share life experiences in their host homes with an Ignite Leader.
The cost for everything is only $35, and this includes all the worship services, small group student booklet, a 180 t-shirt, meals and snacks. Parents will drop students off at Vision at 5:00pm on Friday, February 2nd, then they can be picked up on Sunday, February 4th where they will attend the 11:15 service together as an Ignite Student Body.
An additional event that students can attend to kick off 180 Weekend will take place on Wednesday, January 31st. It’s called Rally180 and it will be held from 6:30 to 8:00pm at Bethlehem Church on S. New Hope Rd. Parents will drop off and pick up at this location. This event has limited seating and is on a first come, first serve basis, so plan to arrive early.
Please register now and pay your $35 fee so you will be guaranteed a space and a 180Weekend t-shirt! You are encouraged to invite friends to attend with you as well.
Online Registration is now closed. Please contact Tabatha High to inquire about additional space for prospective registrants.

What is the 310 Project?
Why don’t young students spend personal time with God? For some it’s because spending hours trying to understand deep spiritual ideas sounds a little painful. However, with the 310 reading program you only commit to 30 minutes a week of time. You also will be reading books and watching materials that are relevant specifically for students. We also give you templates on how to create a weekly prayer list in order to make your time of prayer more beneficial for you. The point of the 310 project is to teach students how to begin the very important process of consistently spending time with God.
-310 is a devotion plan geared at students.
-3 times a week at ten minutes a pop!
-students can use our suggested books, online sermons, online devotions, and weekly prayer templates
-all of our resources are designed to fit a ten minute window
-all resources can be found online under the Ignite Student page .
-We also have the suggested books available on Sunday mornings and Sunday evenings during our Ignite Student Ministry Events.
